Make the Most of Vertical Spaces

One of the simplest and most creative ways to add storage space is to expand up. 

Whether it’s in your closet, kitchen, or bedroom, using the walls to store your belongings is an effective way to keep things off of the floor but still within reaching distance. When organizing the shelves, try placing the items you use the most at the front and push back the things you don’t use daily. 

If your shelves reach all the way to the ceiling, be sure to place all the necessary items at eye level and everything else you don’t need on the higher shelves.

To make your closet more efficient to use, install cubby organizers, which can be used with or without baskets to house socks, sheets, folded clothes, shoes, and anything else you need put away. 

There is no such thing as having enough hanging space, but with the help of over-the-door hooks, you’ll get the most out of your closet as possible.
